91 cents of every dollar the Red Cross receives is spent on relief.
90.6 cents of every dollar is spent by the United Way is on charity.
Goodwill is 89 cents on the dollar.
These are excellent percentages. They raise and dispense many millions of dollars in social services that would never be there without their efforts. Why would anyone want to denigrate and discourage giving to these these noble charities when they help millions of people in true, often desperate need every year?
