Antique Glass And Bottle Show 5/15

Batsto Citizens Committee / Historic Batsto Village May 15th - The Batsto Citizens Committee, Inc. is proud to announce the addition of a spring edition of its popular Antique, Glass and Bottle show at historic Batsto Village.
As part of the celebration of the 250th Anniversary of Batsto Village, the May 15th event will be held in conjunction with a display of antique and restored cars presented by the well known Crusin Classic Car Club.

The Antique, Glass and Bottle Show has been an annual fall event at the historic site for many years. Although the fall show did not begin when Charles Read first erected a furnace on the site in 1766, the fall show has been a popular event for more than thirty years.

The success of last year’s event; with more than eighty vendors, and encouragement from visitors prompted organizers to create a spring show; a time of special beauty at Batsto. Handmade items from a variety of crafters will be available for purchase as well as food and drinks from several local organizations.

To help you enjoy your visit even more, the air will be filled with the sound of music provided by area artists. The event begins at 9AM and will continue to 4PM. There is no admission or parking fee for this event. Batsto mansion tours are also being conducted beginning at 10AM and conclude at 3PM. The Nature Center will be open with science and nature exhibits and special activities for children.
