Frozen Vegetable Recall

Some brands of frozen vegetables have been recalled from stores in New Jersey and elsewhere because of a serious, sometimes fatal contamination risk.
CRF Frozen Foods of Pasco, Washington is voluntarily recalling 15 frozen vegetable items that have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
The organism is also a risk for frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.
