EHC Railroad Crossings Closed

EGG HARBOR CITY – The state Department of Transportation has announced railroad crossing rehabilitation projects in Egg Harbor City that are expected to require detours and road closures beginning Thursday, April 7 and lasting about a week.
Existing crossings will be replaced with new concrete crossings and new asphalt approaches to make the crossings safer and smoother, DOT announced Wednesday, April 6.
The project is part of NJDOT’s railroad grade-crossing safety program, which repairs, upgrades or removes approximately 30 crossings each year, statewide.
