Atlantic City Electric announced Monday that all customers, both residential and business, will see a credit of $113.16 on their monthly bill as a result of the merger completed in March between Exelon and Pepco Holdings Co. Inc., the parent company of Atlantic City Electric.
The credit will appear on electric bills in April for some customers; others will see it on their May bill.
According to a news release issued by Atlantic City Electric, the credit will be automatically applied to each household’s bill as part of a broader package of benefits that will make energy more affordable for customers.
“This is only the start of the benefits customers will see as a result of the merger,” said Vincent Maione, region president.
“The merger includes commitments to improve service and reliability for everyone as well as a commitment to sustain our level of giving to nonprofits for the next 10 years,” he said.
