Do you remember earlier today when we said winter is almost over? Well, Mother Nature has another idea, because New Jersey is about to get a blast of Arctic air starting tonight. In our defense, we're not meteorologists, although we're often just as accurate.
According to the National Weather Service in Mount Holly, strong winds will accompany the colder air, which will result in extremely cold wind chills. The coldest temperatures and wind chills will be this weekend.
The expected cold and wind chill temperatures will create deadly
conditions to people and pets, and property damage may occurs due to
frozen water pipes.
So, plan accordingly if you're traveling or if you are required to work outside. We will keep you posted on the latest weather updates. In the meantime, check out the graphic for some cold weather safety tips. The other pic? That's to drive the point home. It's going to be really, really cold.
