Reorganization Meeting
January meeting January 19 at 7:00 pm
at the Hilda Frame School, Nesco. We will be planning our upcoming
events/fund raisers,Old Time Radio, Penny Party, Barbie Show, Second
Memorial Day Event, and Antique Car Show. We need your input and support
for our events. Museum will be open Tuesday evening. Mark your calendar- meeting January 19 and Old Time Radio Show Saturday January 23. Questions call 561-4034.

Is the building safe for public events? Has there been a CO issued? Is there adequate liability insurance in place for meetings & public events?
With the reorganization of the Mullica In the Pines Historical Society we are completing all the certifications and permits that were not completed previously by the Officer in Charge. We need support from the community not criticism. We accept any ideas to better our organization and invite all to come out to the next meeting and join us. We are here to help one another preserve the history of Mullica Township and the pines.......
The questions were not intended to be criticism. As a volunteer officer in several other non-profit organizations I am well aware of the potential liability of sponsoring public attendance at events. In this day and age of such a litigious society, dotting the I's and crossing the T's can mean the difference between a success and a disaster. Completing all of the certifications and permits should be a prerequisite to opening the building to the public, not a concurrent activity.
