ATLANTIC CITY -- Wheel! Of! Fortune! will roll into Atlantic City via the Wheelmobile, looking for new contestants for the popular spell-it-out game show.
The 36-foot bright yellow
Winnebago will park at the Claridge Hotel from noon to 4 p.m. on both
Saturday and Sunday. Wheelmobile events and applications can be found at
the hotel's Grand Ballroom.
Everyone who attends will be able to fill out an application.
"Wheel of Fortune is
looking for good game players who are energetic, enthusiastic and fun,"
the event page describes. "This is your opportunity to shine. Show us
what you've got!"
People interested in being a
contestant on the ABC show can fill out applications, play speed-rounds
of the game and possibly win prizes. Some of those who apply at the
Claridge event could make it to auditions for the national show.
There will be three Wheel of
Fortune simulated games during the course of those four hours, each
starting at noon, 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. Contestants for the games will be
picked at random, and will be evaluated for future participation in
"Wheel of Fortune."
