Parmesan Cheese Recall

A New Jersey company has recalled more than 30,000 pounds of parmesan cheese because it can cause a dangerous reaction to people with egg allergies, authorities say.
Arthur Schuman Inc. of Fairfield has recalled its 1.25-pound Bella Rosa Grated Parmesan Cheese because it may contain undeclared egg allergen, the FDA said. “People who have an allergy or sensitivity to eggs run the risk of serious or life threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product,” the FDA said.
The product is sold exclusively through BJ’s Wholesale Clubs in the following states: Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Ohio.
