Law enforcement officials say they are investigating a death that occurred in Mullica Township Thursday night.

The death occurred at a residence on Weymouth Road, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a statement. The ACPO and Mullica Township police are investigating, the statement said.

No further details were disclosed.

Lois Collier, 56, was found dead inside the home at about 3:30 p.m., after police responded to a 911 call reporting an unconscious woman at the residence on the 200 block of Weymouth Road.

Detectives from the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit and Mullica Township police are investigating.

No further details have been released, including how the woman died. An autopsy is pending.
