Mullica Ordinance #4-2015 - Public Records

TOWNSHIP OF MULLICA ORDINANCE NO. 4-2015 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 122, FEES, SECTION 14, PUBLIC RECORDS, OF THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MULLICA, COUNTY OF ATLANTIC, STATE OF NEW JERSEY WHEREAS, the Township of Mullica has an existing section of the Mullica Township Code which deals with the fees; and WHEREAS, the Township is desirous of amending said Code to be in compliance with the provisions of the New Jersey Open Public Records Act, N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1, et. Seq. BE IT ORDAINED, by the Township Committee of the Township of Mullica, in the County of Atlantic and State of New Jersey that Chapter 122-14 be amended as follows: SECTION I: Chapter 122-14. Government Records. The term "government records" generally includes those records determined to be government records or records in accordance with N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1.1. SECTION III: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistencies. SECTION IV: If any Section or part of this Ordinance is deemed to be invalid or illegal in any Court of competent jurisdiction then said part is severable from the Ordinance as a whole and the remaining Sections or parts of this Ordinance shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION V: This Ordinance shall take effect after approval by the passage and publication of this Ordinance as prescribed by law.
