Free Senior Tax Preparation Help

The AARP offers free tax preparation assistance for low-and moderate income individuals age 60 and older. Seniors who need help filling out their federal and state income tax returns may call 609-407-2022 to schedule an appointment for the following locations and days:

Margate City Hall, 9001 Winchester Ave. Margate, Mondays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Shore Medical Center, 1 E. New York Ave., Somers Point, Thursdays 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
Atlantic City Library, 1333 Atlantic Ave., Atlantic City, Wednesdays 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Brigantine Senior Center, 42nd St. and Brigantine Ave. Brigantine, Wednesdays 9 a.m.-noon and Saturdays 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
Galloway Public Library, 300 E. Jim Leeds Road, Galloway, Tuesdays 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Pleasantville Library, 33 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. Pleasantville, Thursdays 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Ventnor Public Library, 6500 Atlantic Ave., Ventnor, Mondays 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.

Assistance is also available at AtlantiCare Health Park, 2500 English Creek Ave., Egg Harbor Township, Fridays 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Make appointments by calling1-888-569-1000 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The volunteers can also help individuals with filing property tax reimbursement (Senior Freeze) and Pharmaceutical Aid to the Aged and Disabled (PADD) forms.
