PETRECCA, DOROTHY M. - 86, of Mays Landing,
while surrounded by loving family at home, went forth to the open arms
of the Lord on Sunday, March 22nd, after a lengthy illness. Born
November 10, 1928 in Atlantic City, raised in Hammonton, settling in
Margate and later in Mays Landing, "Dottye" was a graduate of Hammonton
High School and Glassboro State College. Her teaching career spanned 25
years of dedication and encouragement to the students of the
Mullica
Township Middle School and left many a positive mark on the lives of
former students, colleagues and friends. Upon her retirement in 1993,
her focus and unceasing support turned to the well-being of her family
and adored grandchildren. She will be dearly missed. Surviving are her
son; Robert Petrecca and daughter-in-law, Kathleen of Galloway;
grandchildren, Jeffrey Collar of Canton, GA; Grace Petrecca of Mays
Landing and Luke Petrecca of Galloway. A celebration service will be
held on 10 AM, Saturday, March 27th at New Life Church, 2577 Tilton
Road, Egg Harbor Township. Burial will be private. Arrangement have been
