5'' To 10" Of Snow On The Way

Widespread significant snow likely. The National Weather Service has issued winter storm watches for all of South Jersey, as they believe 4-8" of snow is possible for all of us.

I concur, though I've gone a slightly higher 5-10" for much of southwest, interior southern, and central New Jersey. 4-8" is my prediction from Absecon Island through Cape May county, where the changeover back to snow may take a little longer.

What can go wrong? Or what can change this idea?
Two keys: 1) Timing of the changeover 2) Is there a period of sleet
If the changeover to snow is slower, then the lower end of this range is likely. If it's quicker, then the higher end is the better bet. Also, any extended period of sleet will cut into snow totals, and lower forecast amounts.

So I'll have a longer breakdown post and an updated video forecast online shortly. Also, I'll have any changes(if necessary) to this map tomorrow as the storm setup hopefully becomes more clear.
