The steering committee working
with the county and a nationally known consultant to develop a plan to
strengthen and diversify the county’s economy is asking for the public’s
input.
Atlantic County Action Now is
encouraging residents and business owners to take short surveys through
its web site, and to attend community forums planned for later this
month and in March.

The first public forum on
diversifying the Atlantic County economy will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Feb.
26 at the Walter Edge Theater, Atlantic Cape Community College, 5100
Black Horse Pike, Mays Landing. Two additional forums will be held in
March, with locations and dates to be announced soon.

Stop giving tax dollars to support private businesses. Encourage new private businesses by keeping taxes low and business friendly.
