Barrette Outdoor Living Approved For $29 Million Tax Credit

The grants are for corporate business for tax credits after job creation/retention through the Grow NJ program. The new owner James Dinatale said the industrial business will bring hundreds of jobs to the distressed region where thousands are unemployed after the casino closings. The state grant program is for a business creating or retaining jobs and making a capital investment in a qualified incentive area. The long-abandoned former Lenox China plant on Tilton Road was purchased in June and has undergone renovations and development.
 
GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP — A business’ plan to move into the former Lenox China factory on Tilton Road could create hundreds of jobs and win millions in state funding.

Barrette Outdoor Living applied to the state Economic Development Authority’s Grow New Jersey Assistance Program and was approved for a $29 million Grow New Jersey award toward an eligible industrial rehabilitation project for a manufacturing business in Atlantic County.
Barrette is a vinyl, wood and aluminum manufacturer and a distributor of fencing, railing, garden accents and sheds across North America. The company also supplies specialty fence dealers and large home-improvement retailers such as Lowe’s and Home Depot.
