Atlantic City Race Course To Close
Harry Hurley has confirmed on WPG Talk Radio 1450 that the Atlantic City Race Course will close.
It opened on July 22, 1946. Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope, Sammy Kaye and so many of the too stars regularly attended.
In recent years, a Spring short live racing season was in place, along with the daily simulcasting keeping the track open.
This revenue will now go to North Jersey race tracks.
This is a big loss for Atlantic City.
It’s been rich in history. Public relations work is now required, so this does not fuel a false, negative bias towards the health of Atlantic City.
