Hammonton police this morning identified the pedestrian killed in a tragic Christmas Eve accident outside of a Catholic church as Delores Distler, 77, of Mullica.
Police said that Distler was
leaving the St. Anthony of Padua church at about 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday
when she was struck and killed by a minivan as she crossed Route 206.
The driver of the car was Leon Gazzara, 50, of Hammonton police said.
Police this morning said no charges are pending and the investigating is ongoing.
