Fire At Columbus Farmer's Market

A fast moving fire destroyed a farmers market in Burlington County. Flames shot through the roof of the Columbus Farmers and Flea Market on Tuesday.

Thick black smoke could be seen for miles, and emergency officials were forced to close several nearby roads.

The fire at the historic market quickly spread to four alarms. It took firefighters nearly two hours to bring the blaze under control.

There are no reports of injuries, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation Tuesday evening.

The market, which claims to be the Delaware Valley's oldest and largest flea market, was not scheduled to be open on Tuesday.
