Public Questions On The November Ballot


There are two questions on the November 4th ballot.

Question No.1 is a constitutional amendment that would allow courts the latitude to order pretrial detention of a person in a criminal case without a chance to post bail.  It also grants judges the discretion to release suspects without posting bail.

Question No. 2 is a constitutional amendment dedicating state funds for open space, farmland, and historic preservation and changing the existing dedication for water programs, underground storage tanks and hazardous waste.
