Spiros Malaspina R.I.P.
It is with sadness that The Gadfly announces the passing of Dr. Spiros Malaspina.
Former Mullica School Board President and Board member, Spiros passed away yesterday, September 1st, in the afternoon, following a month-long battle with infections and organ failure after (his second, more recent) open heart surgery. He had also struggled with MS for the past seven years.
Rest in Peace Spiros Malaspina. Condolences to his family and friends.

OMG how sad!!! My condolences to his family at this very sad time. I'm so sorry
Dr Malespina was the most kind and gentle person. He's was a great Board of Education President bringing others points of view to the meetings and always listening to the staff and community members
We will all miss him and extend heartfelt condolence to his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
