Mary was someone who loved our community dearly and fought to keep it pristine with her environmental activism. Being outspoken and active in community affairs she was either admired or disliked for following her beliefs and her challenging issues she opposed . She was definitely unique and well known in this community. Her passing leaves Mullica with a loss . We pray for both her and her beloved husband Bernard who will sorely feel her passing. Thank you Mary for your service to this community and may God Bless you and the loved ones you leave behind
Mary cared deeply for Mullica Township Schools where she served on the BOE faithfully. She asked if people were from Mullica when they were hired. She was very intelligent and stood firmly upon her principals.
Condolences to her family who lost her far too early. I hope the school will dedicate the School Garden to her Memory as they have the Susan Webb garden.
A beautiful memorial service was held for Mary on Oct.4th. The hall was filled with Mary's family, friends,co-workers,residents and political figures.
Senator Whealen spoke of his experiences with Mary and her contributions to society. Countless others told their personal stories about Mary's effect on their lives and Mullica.
Mary was an amazing, intelligent woman who left us way too soon.
Mary showed us that with belief, determination, courage and a strong will, one person can begin processes that change society for the better.
RIP Mary, you will be remembered
