Perdue has recalled more than 700 pounds of chicken shipped to four states, including Pennsylvania, because the meat may have experienced a processing deviation in temperature during production, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service has announced.
The products recalled include 2.5 pound ice-packed, sealed packages of “Cookin’ Good Whole Young Chickens.”
The products were produced Sept. 3 and shipped to a distributor for resale in Connecticut, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. The packages have the establishment number “P-764” on the box.
