Murder Suspect Charged

Steven Stallworth, 27, of Pleasantville was arrested for the January 5th murder of 30 year old Tara Rogers- Alicea.

Tara Rogers-Alicea's body was discovered inside a suitcase by an off-duty Margate police sergeant Jan. 5. in a wooded area behind the former Shore Mall in Egg Harbor Township. The 30-year-old Gloucester County woman was identified through tattoos.

She was asphyxiated through strangulation, according to the autopsy.

ACPO - Tattoo Photos Released

The Atlantic County Prosecutors Office has released photos of the tattoos on the female body found in a suitcase by the Shore Mall on Sunday.
They are requesting public assistance in identification of the victim.
