Horses Rescued

Two miniature horses that were neglected and starved were rescued Thursday by South Jersey Horse Rescue in Mullica Township

The owners of the horses contacted the rescue group after three of their five horses died.

The owners, who are from Gloucester County, told South Jersey Horse Rescue that they were no longer able to care for the animals after losing their jobs.

The Gloucester County SPCA has been notified of the incident and plan to investigate the matter further.

These two came in  last night starved and the feet not done for at least a year. Say a prayer- they are in terrible shape.
