No incumbents running is a win-win situation. I wish all five could be elected now.
I hope the two who do not make it will apply again next year.
Thank you all for stepping up at this critical time.

I would like to know more about the candidates than just their names. I want to know their vision for the school, their opinion on the Mascio matter and some background info.
I'm hoping a meeting can be held at the school where the the public can submit questions to all the candidates.

Thank goodness no incumbents are running for re-election! Mia Jones, as BOE President/lunch buddy of Dr. Marro, and Vicki Tomasco, as BOE Vice President (and the one on record for motioning for the tenure charges against Mrs. Mascio), must be expected to assume responsibility for the atrocity that has become our school board. After all, they are the BOE leaders. The two of them should do the right thing and resign from the BOE, thereby making room for 2 more new members.

The PTA used to run a Candidates night hopefully they will do it this year.

I don't think anyone's opinion on the Mascio case should weigh in on how you vote. The case is over and decision has been made. "Let the community heal" seems to be what all the big mouths are barking, do why don't you do that?

8:28pm
We want the community to heal, that's why we can't have history repeat itself.
We want people who will question how things are done and investigate matters, not go along with anything that's put in front of them.
I think the candidates' opinion on the Mascio case would give us an indication of what kind of board member they would be.

We will heal,we will forgive but we can never, ever forget how important it is to have residents who represent the taxpayers and school, not the Superintendent's personal agenda.

11:58 PM - well said and couldn't agree more. Mia Jones and Vicki Tomasco need to resign based on a total lack of leadership causing thousands of dollars in taxpayer dollars, a divided community and a disheartened teaching staff. The only way to heal is to remove the poison.

Then remove Mazzoni as he now controls both Middle and Elementary. He is poison. He is a big lawsuit waiting to happen
