Readers,
Did you know that the Mullica Holiday events, Community Day and National Night Out are NOT totally funded by Mullica tax dollars? These special days are provided for your children by resident donations, sponsorships and the hard work and time put in by Mullica Township employees, the Mullica Township Police Dept. and volunteers.
I know we're going through hard economic times but even small donations would be greatly appreciated. Maybe even just $1.00 per family member.
This event is designed to
1) Heighten Crime and Drug Prevention Awareness
2) Generate support for, and participation in local anti-crime efforts
3) Strengthen community spirit and police-community partnerships
4) Send a message to criminals that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back
I've seen the overwhelming generosity of our residents in support of Kelly Mascio. How wonderful it would be if some of that giving spirit was extended to all the children of Mullica.
Send your checks to: Mullica Township Police Department
4528 White Horse Pike
PO Box 317
Elwood, N.J. 08215
Attn: Capt. Brian Zeck
I'm sure they will be grateful for every $1.00 they receive for your support of this event.
Thanks,
