Rheault - Freeholder Candidate

Democrat Steven J. Stokes, of Galloway Township, was joined this week by Mullica Township Committeewoman Barbara Rheault in announcing their candidacies for the two at-large freeholder nominations.

Rheault has been a fifth-grade science teacher in the Mullica Township School District for 15 years and has served as president of the Mullica Township Education Association for four years.
“Having lived in and around Atlantic County my entire life, I would be honored to represent Atlantic County taxpayers and be a voice for all residents,” Rheault said in a statement.

“Children and senior citizens are our most vulnerable residents, and they need an advocate willing to provide them with a voice and vote when decisions are made by elected public officials. As a mom and union leader, I also understand how decisions of elected officials and appointed administrators can adversely impact working families.”
Stokes, a retired U.S. Army master sergeant, is a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters.
