Pinelands Pipeline - Part 2

New developments in the case of the controversial Pinelands pipeline, with Senator Jeff Van Drew announcing Tuesday a new effort to advance a project to build a natural gas pipeline to the BL England Power Plant in Beaseley's Point.

In a statement released Tuesday, Van Drew says numerous methods exist to advance the project, including South Jersey Gas seeking a special waiver from the Pinelands Commission.

A previous proposal for a pipeline that would have run along Route 49 was turned down by the Pinelands Commission in January.
