Kelly Mascio's supporters wore T-shirts stating "We Support Kelly", as they circulated a
petition asking the Board of Education to decline renewal of
Superintendent Brenda Harring-Marro’s contract when it comes up in June.
They will present the petition at tonight's school board meeting.
Brenda Harring - Marro stated that 93% of the teachers and staff who voted "no confidence" in her leadership ability was a very small number of people. The members of the MTEA have been frustrated by the superintendent's serious and disturbing lack of judgement that have hurt our community and school. The community who back our teachers and Kelly Mascio are about to add their vote of "no confidence" to that number. Will the Mullica Board of Education pay attention to the voice of the community and staff of the school???
