Another Pipeline Connection?
Christina Genovese Renna, who resigned her position on Friday as Director of Intergovernmental Affairs for the Christie Administration, is married to Michael J. Renna, president and chief operating officer of South Jersey Industries, the parent company of South Jersey Gas, which wanted to build the 22- mile pipeline through the Pinelands.
Ms. Renna was the recipient of one of 20 subpoenas issued by a joint legislative committee investigating the closure of several lanes at the GWB. She reported to Bridget Kelly, Christie's deputy chief of staff, who was fired because of the bridge scandal.

David Samson, who was appointed by Christie as chair of the Port Authority Commission, was the attorney for the BL England Power Plant that would have received gas from the controversial pipeline.

If Christie didn't know about the GWB problem caused by his administration, he probably didn't know anything about all the pressure by his administration being put on the Pinelands Commission to pass the pipeline.
OK, if you say so
I'm still trying to figure out why a pipe run under the ground was so damaging to the environment. I would rather see B L England run on clean burning natural gas then coal fired. I'm all for protecting the environment but some people (tree huggers) take it to the extreme.
