Jason Scott Jenkins - Movie Producer

Jason Scott Jenkins, who grew up in Mullica Township, spent the last 10 years working as a big -and-tall actor and model.  He is 6-foot-5, and played football and wrestled for Oakcrest before accepting a football scholarship to the University of Nebraska as a defensive tackle.  He also played in the Arena League and the Canadian Football League and was a heavyweight boxer.

Jenkins' latest project is the Independent comedy "Dumbells".  He not only has the starring role in the film, he also served as an executive producer and music supervisor on the project.  The comedy opened in 15 cities nationwide earlier this month.

"Dumbells" will be playing in selected cities through April.  It will be available through video-on-demand on some cable systems through October 15th.  The movie becomes available on DVD July 15th.

The songs heard in the movie are by Jenkins' younger brother, Matthew "Moz" Jenkins, also of Mullica Township and his nephew, Eddie W. Jenkins.  The music is available for download at Amazon.com.
