Hoboken Held Hostage

The Mayor of Hoboken, Dawn Zimmer claims officials in Governor Christie's Administration held Hurricane Sandy recovery funds hostage, in exchange for expediting a development project.
"It's not fair for the governor to hold Sandy funds hostage for the city of Hoboken because he wants me to give back to one private developer", Zimmer said

The Christe administration has denied all claims.

Last year, the Cherry Hill based Fair Share Housing Center alleged racial bias and economic inequality in the distribution of Sandy aid to individual property owners.

Christie administration may have tried to influence pipeline vote.

The Christie administration went to extraordinary lengths in an effort to secure approval for the controversial gas pipeline through the Pinelands, opponents allege .

The fact that David Samson, a Christie appointee who is also connected to the GWB scandal, is also the lawyer for the plant that would have received power may have caused the pipeline to clear several obstacles toward approval too easily, and even led the governor's office to play a role in intimidating a Pinelands Commissioner into recusing himself from voting against it.
