Code Red Test

On Wednesday, January 29, the Atlantic County Office of Emergency Management will be conducting a test call of its recently updated Emergency Notification System. The call is scheduled to go out mid-late morning to all countywide landline phones and self-registered cell phone and VoIP numbers.

The county recently contracted with CodeRED to provide time-sensitive, automated emergency alerts to residents, businesses and property owners in Atlantic County.

If you receive the call, your number is already in the system. If you would like to include additional numbers, or text and email contact information, you may do so through one of the two county websites: www.aclink.org or www.readyatlantic.org. Once there, click on the CodeRED graphic.

Those who do not receive the call, are encouraged to register to ensure they receive future alerts. If you have moved or changed numbers within the last year, you should also register. Each number must be associated with a street address as the system is based on geographical delivery. All data is kept strictly confidential and restricted for emergency use only.

For more information or assistance in registering, please call (609) 407-6742, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
