Egg Harbor City is asking residents to sign up for a free service that enables them to receive emergency messages and notifications.

Blackboard Connect allows officials to send thousands of messages in minutes, requires no additional hardware, and can be used from any computer with internet access or telephone.

Galloway Township uses CODE RED, a high speed communication system to notify residents of emergencies.
These emergency systems can be used to send critical communications such as a missing child, missing adult, evacuations, fires, weather conditions or even descriptions of criminals in the area.

If anyone knows of a reason why Mullica Township can not have a system to notify our residents of emergency situations, please write in those reasons.
Our school has a robo call system for notifications.  Our residents deserve a communication system that may save lives or quickly find a missing child.
