Shop With A Cop

Mullica Township Police Department

Earlier today Mullica Twp PD participated in the 3rd annual Shop With A Cop program. The program is run by Egg Harbor Township Police Athletic League and the Walmart of Mays Landing. The program provides breakfast with Santa the kids are then loaded onto school uses and paraded to the Walmart of Mays Landing. Once at Walmart each child was assigned a police officer and given a gift card. The officer then helps the child shop for themselves for Christmas. The Mullica Twp. Officers shown raised over $1,200. The funds went directly to the kids that participated from Mullica Township. Over 115 kids were sponsored by law enforcement and by private donations from all over Atlantic County. The smile on the kids faces was priceless, a great event for all...
