Have you read all the terms of service for your Facebook Apps?   If you haven't, you are agreeing to let Facebook monitor you 24/7.
Cellphone users who attempt to install the Facebook messenger app are asked to agree to terms of service that allow the social networking giant to use the microphone on their device to record audio at any time WITHOUT their permission.
Facebook can also take photos  & videos without your permission, read your phone logs, contact information, share your profile and actually make calls from your phone WITHOUT your permission.

While you may be aware of the terms of service, your teen may not be.  The person you are having a conversation with at a dinner table may not have read the terms of service.  The friend you have over to your home may have a video being made without their even realizing it.  Your spouse may leave their phone on the night table.
