2nd District Assembly Race Undecided
The race for a 2nd District Assembly seat was still undecided and headed for court after the Atlantic County Board of Elections officials counted the final provisional ballots Wednesday from the November 5th elections.
Provisional ballots combined with the machine and mail-in ballots put Amodeo's lead over Mazzeo at 2 votes, 25,090 to 25,088. But there are still approximately 128 challenged ballots, the validity of which will be determined by a Superior Court Judge.
In a close Northfield 1st ward race, Republican Nick Piergiovanni was the unofficial winner by 1 vote over Democrat David Devine, 633 -632.
Don't ever think your vote does not matter!
