Kessler Medical Arts Complex
Renovations have begun at the Kessler Medical Arts Complex by an investment group that bought the defunct hospital.
Community Healthcare purchased the 94,000 square foot former William B. Kessler Hospital for $2.6 million in Oct.2011. The 130 bed hospital closed in 2009.
The company plans to recruit physicians, outpatient surgery centers, blood labs, imaging services, physical therapy and rehabilitation services as well as behavioral health and sleep centers.
The complex will provide about 200 jobs when fully occupied.
