Feast Week

The longest running Italian Festival in the United States and a Hammonton tradition since 1875 begins today.

The 138th Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Italian Festival is a week long celebration of local heritage and religious background.  Through July 16, there will be all sorts of entertainment and events to commemorate this longstanding tradition.

Amusements of America will be providing the carnival rides and concessions to the public.
Live bands and DJ's will operate on the main stage and the beer garden area.  Delicious food is being prepared at the food stands.  An Idol Night will be held on Saturday at 7 pm for ages 14 -18 with cash prizes awarded.  July 16th is the Feast Day and a procession begins at 4:00 pm from Third and French Streets, and will follow the traditional route through the streets of Hammonton.  A fireworks display will end the feast at 10:00 pm on the 16th.
