Aponte, St.Amour Win Primary

Attorney Ernest A. Aponte and benefits and investment firm owner Michael H. St. Amour, with 26 years of experience in his field,will challenge Republican incumbents Mayor Brown and Deputy Mayor Lawrence E. Riffle for three- year terms in this November's election.

Both Aponte and St. Amour are opposed to shared services plans, saying they won't save enough money and do not work well for such a spread-out, rural community such as Mullica.  They've seen several attempts to move services out of the community, like the Municipal Court and the Police Department over the last three years.

St. Amour served on the Township Committee from 2008 to 2010 and was Mayor in 2010.
Attorney Ernest Aponte served as Mullica Court Public Defender.
