As municipalities continue to find ways to upgrade their websites to meet the requirements for the Governor's Best Standards Checklist, towns now know where they stand in the state among other municipal websites.
According to a Monmouth University Poll ranking 540 municipal websites in the state, Middletown of Monmouth County ranked #1, Mullica Township ranked at # 284, and last was Tavistock Borough of Camden County ranked at # 540.

It's possible we could have ranked higher if the contact information for our elected officials was posted on the website as was the practice with previous administrations. Posting the MISSING 2011 and 2012 Regular Committee Meeting Minutes and Bills Lists would give the appearance of a little transparency. As it stands now, the Brown Administration prefers that the public not contact them or see what they did or what they spent since they took office.
