Tax Appeal Scams

The Atlantic County Board of Taxation is warning that scammers are offering information that is useless and free for a cost.
April 1st is the deadline for property owners to file tax appeals in all of Atlantic County Municipalities excluding Absecon and Egg Harbor Township.
Marghe Schott, the Atlantic County Tax Administrator, states the information you need to file a successful appeal is readily available and absolutely free.
