Double Air Traffic?? or Ten Fold Increase??

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and the South Jersey Transportation Authority have voted to begin negotiations leading to a takeover of Atlantic City International Airport in July.
The current infrastructure would allow for double the amount of activity.  27 flights a day could turn into 54 flights.

This should be watched closely.  New flights could mean new flight patterns.  The residents of Mullica should make sure that there will not be multiple loud jets flying in a holding pattern over our town.  Double activity is for the current infrastructure.  There is room for much greater expansion at the airport in the future under the Port Authority.  Port Authority officials said they believe under their leadership "the airport could see as many as 300 flights per day with the EXISTING infrastructure"
