                                                             ORDINANCE NO. 1 - 2013

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF UNIMPROVED LANDS DESIGNATED BLOCK 4198, LOT 1 AND BLOCK 4170, LOT 2; ON THE TAX MAP OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MULLICA, BY THE TOWNSHIP OF MULLICA, COUNTY OF ATLANTIC AND THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY.

NOTICE OF PENDING ORDINANCE
The ordinance published herewith was introduced and passed upon first reading at a meeting of the Township Committee of the Township of Mullica, in the County of Atlantic, New Jersey, held February 12, 2013.  It will be further considered for final passage after public hearing thereon, at a meeting of said Township Committee to be held in the Municipal Building in said Township on February 26, 2013 at 7:00p.m.and during the week prior to and including the date of such meeting, copies of said ordinance will be made available at the Clerk's Office in said Municipal Building to the members of the general public who shall request same.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE, of the Township of Mullica, County of Atlantic, State of New Jersey as follows:

SECTION 1.      The Township has been notified by the current owners of Block 4186, Lot 1 and Block 4170, Lot 2 that they would like to donate said property of unimproved ground to the Township of Mullica.

SECTION 11.     The local lands and buildings law, NJSA 40A:12-1, et seq., authorizes the Township to accept such properties by ordinance.

SECTION 111.    The Township Committee has determined that it is in the public interest to accept the property and direct the Solicitor to prepare a deed conveying the property from the John & Elizabeth Christiana, 73 Henning Drive, Fairfield, NJ 07006 to Township of Mullica.

SECTION 1V.     All ordinances or parts of ordinances or any resolution of the Township Committee of the Township of Mullica inconsistent  herewith is repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

SECTION V.      This Ordinance shall take effect immediately after final adoption and publication according to law.
