Open Space Funding

New Jersey has depleted its open space preservation fund.  The Senate's Environmental Committee is scheduled to discuss funding options.
"The options include imposing a water-use fee, dedicating a portion of the sales tax and borrowing."

A water use fee??? Is that why the county wants to hook up sewers to everybody's house? A water bill plus taxes plus a use fee for open space funding. GREAT!

I know a guy from Galloway who didn't want to be hooked up to the new sewer on his street.he was told he would be billed even if he wasn't hooked up.

You don't even need a sewer and water pipe to your home.I read an article last year where a couple of western states were considering putting meters on private wells.

Brown,Riffle and Hagaman wanted to go along with the county and approve sewers for all of Mullica. Gabris got them to compromise and only agree to Elwood. Gabris meant only along the Pike for businesses but the other three included all of Elwood.

Why do republicans always want all the crap to run thru Elwood?
