A biometric fingerprinting system is coming to the Greater Egg Harbor Regional School District this week. It will be used at this time for students purchasing lunches.
School Business Administrator Charles Muller stated that "Students who object to the system for reasons religious or otherwise will not be forced to be part of it."
He also stated that he sent a letter to parents on Jan18th to inform them of the system. "I have not heard anything back," Muller said. "....if I don't hear anything back, I assume consent."

I'm think this is just the beginning of a tracking system. Next they will want RFID chips like in Texas.
