Watch for the needless no parking signs go up again next year so the Leeks can have the "boulevard" leading to their home free of parked cars. That was the crux of this election, that plus giving the county Republicans and their friends free reign to do what they want to in Elwood.

Congrats to Jim and Larry you did it!

Re 7:07pm
Elwood doesn't seem to care anymore. Those that didn't vote or voted on the local election to send a "message" to Washington will get exactly what they deserve for being so stupid.
Chasey and her puppets will now proceed with further lies and deception. We'll see how happy the people are next year.

Thanks to Mike and Bernie for all of their hard work on behalf of Mullicans. I don't expect to see Brown or Riffle helping out the public works workers with trash or snow removal. Nor do I expect anything but lies and deception now that the Mullica Republican Club has taken over our town. The memories of Mullicans are so short. The whole situation is sad. History will be repeated. Lessons will be repeated until they are learned. Lets hope Mullicans learn their lesson this time around!

Many who voted against the incumbents would rather throw out the baby with the bathwater.

I got the Dems mailer and I agree that Kathy Chasey will be pulling the strings behind Brown and Riffle. But its not just Chasey. We will also be dealing with Janet Forman, who was kept in the shadows during the campaign but who will be pushing hard behind the scenes for the agendas of her cronies. B&R, with the help of Bill Kennedy's ego, will carry out Chaseys and Formans plans because the two women threw their weight behind them (yes, pun intended). Where there are houses to be sold, wetlands to be filled, and laws to be broken, Ms. Forman cannot be difficult to find.

RE 12:11pm
Voting to send a message to "Washington",as you stated, was just a tool the republicans used to get their people back in. On the national level, both the republicans and the democrats serve the same masters, the bankers and the corporations. Until the day comes when the government is given back to the people, there will be no voice for the American people.

The only change I see coming will be the tactics used by the republicans to keep the population under control. I fully expect to hear of more "terrorist attacks" which will further result in us giving up even more freedoms for a "promise" of security and safety. I see the bankers and corporations becoming richer through wars, deceptions and "natural disasters" while they rob the American people of their lives and prosperity.

I feel we are in for one of the roughest times in American history. We are all in the same boat and it's sinking fast.
I feel really bad that Mullica will not have any intelligent leadership in the majority. I thought that St.Amour and Graebener did an excellent job during the 10 months in which they had the vote. I was looking forward to some excellent changes in the future.

While All of Mullica lost in this election,I do feel that St.Amour and Graebenber really won by not having to deal with the all the difficult situations the next few years will present. They are good, honest men that this town obviously did not appreciate.

Yes,11:12pm,Mullican republican voters and non-voters got exactly what they deserve. It's a pity that the rest of us will have to suffer the consequences of their lack of judgment and common sense.

Wow. Jim Brown came to my door, and I asked him what he would do different. He didn't say anything he would do different. This has to be about national politics, because I didn't hear anything new for Mullica...did anyone else?

I met Brown. He said he would help us on property taxes. Now the pressure is on. The fat pig Foreman came to a meeting and said her taxes went up this year. If they go up in 2011, with the cosmetic-surgery queen complain then, or will she just chalk it up to something else??? When taxes go up in 2011, you'll see how hypocritical the cherry-cheeks Chasey and fatso Foreman are...

Is Bill K. going to be mayor in 2011? He can always play off the Dems vs the Reps...Kennedy, Brown and Riffle...who pissed in the gene pool?

I think you guys are wrong about Brown & Riffle letting Chasey and Forman get involved. Don't know Riffle, but I think Brown is smart enough to know that Chasey and Forman are toxic. Their majority would be shortlived if they just let the others pull the strings.

re 5:22 pm
You might want to go to the swearing in of Riffle, because that might be the only time you'll ever see him. Brown has had no involvement with anything going on in Mullica for the last 30 years and is being spoon fed false information from Chasey's gang as you can see by his false mailers.
Time will only tell if Brown is "his own man"or will do whatever the Republican Club tells him to. Maybe he should take the next 7 weeks to investigate the truth about what really went on in Mullica in the last decade.

Jim Brown will be a great addition representing Mullica. Congrats to Jim Brown and Larry Riffle.

re 6:08 pm
I noticed you only mentioned Jim Brown as a "great"addition.

Re: 12:38 AM. That's because no one knows Riffle and those who do, loathe him. He only got in because the "mindless Republicans" pushed the button down the party line. Look at Curcio, for all the "morally just", they pushed the button for him. It'll come around full circle.

"Re: 8:21 AM. That's because no one knows Riffle and those who do, loathe him." What a pitiful but true comment on the Mullica Republican Club for running this candidate and those of our upstanding citizens who would vote for him. You should be ashamed.

Congrats to Jim and Larry you did it!

I fear that Mullica's voters have created another embarassing siutation for the community next year.

Mullica's voters re-elected Silipena, Curcio and Chasey as they were all screwing us with the trash station so what's different with this election?
