In an article in the Press of Atlantic City, Mullica Township was cited as one of the locations out of six towns in the county that a dead crow was found infected with West Nile virus. The dead crow was found on the 900 block of 5th Avenue in the township. Residents should check areas where water can collect like boats, tires, etc. Residents can help by reporting any dead birds found to the Atlantic County Division of Health @ 609-645-5971 ext. 4277.
