The Columbia II restaurant on Route 30 in Mullica Township closed Saturday and will at least be closed tomorrow after a small electrical fire required them to cut off power.
Renee Ingemi, a waitress at the restaurant, said the fire that started sometime after 12 p.m. Saturday forced them to close for the rest of the day and remove all the food they stored in refrigerators.
“We have to take it all home,” she said. “We’re going to eat like pigs.”
Mullica police and local firefighters responded to the scene and are investigating the cause.
